Under Enemy Colors

post B

Dear lieutenant Charles Hayden,

I am wondering what your thinking was when you went in to enemy waters with a little boat that had no chance with the French frigate. I for sure thought you were going to be sunken or you were going to over take the French ship barely but it turns out I am wrong either way. But I like the quote where Bourne says “you penetrated their defenses when we did not.” Because I thought it was the coolest thing in the world when you snuck by them and then just owned them. Also I feel the same way you do when you found out that you killed over one hundred men on the French frigate. And what was captain heart doing when he was just randomly firing like that, and he hit you as well.
